"Duality of Nature"
Hello, readers this is my new blog on two major contradictory realities of Earth which we can consider as a Duality of nature. This particular task give by our professor Vaidehi mam Hariyani, the purpose behind this thinking activity is to enlarge own point of view about nature according to today's world.
“The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with Nature.”
—Joseph Campbell
The very basic aim of the life is to get happiness from the fundamental elements of the Earth , as far human pursuit of happiness firmly related to nature.
When we glance at the charges of Earth's creation we come to know at this point, scriptures says, God created the world.
I want to add thing that if God created the world so , God makes it is with exquisite blend of two contrasting realities.
As far the nature is concern , the world contains two more equivalent qualities such as Beauty and Joy. Nature itself playing with two Major dice.
The nature contains very powerful and spiritual forces , at that time some eminent writers tried to difine own views towards nature.
1) Wordsworth
2) semual Coleridge
3) John keats
1) Wordsworth
'Nature was the source of all joy for Wordsworth. Nature for him was a living personality just like a teacher, a guardian and a nurse. Abdul Ghani Dar writes.'
As we all know that Wordsworth was the worshiper of nature and he always use to say that the human life and relation with nature is very adjunct because nature is the most integral ingredient of human being.
In this very poems of Wordsworth are contains the powerful quality of natural elements.
'Your mind is the garden
Your thoughts are the seeds
The harvest
Can either be
Flowers of weeds.'
Wordsworth had time and attention to spare for every living thing: celandine, primroses, daisies and so on. He was an unembarrassed champion of “the splendor in the grass” and “glory in the flower”. Oscar Wilde cleverly pointed out that he had a touch too much of the self-proclaimed “nature’s priest” about him. “Wordsworth went to the lakes,” he wrote, “but he was never a lake poet. He found in stones the sermons he had already hidden there.”
As per my views nature is not only contains Beauty and Joy but nature is also something else which provides a shelter and food to every living.
Intend of being nature's priest , must aware about the contrast side of each part of nature ..when we consider nature as a Teacher or Mother , accept the Destructive part of nature. Click this sentence ,
"જે પોષતું તે મારતું"
I likely remember that one of most surprising quote of Wordsworth about animals and humanity.
'A Creature Not Too Bright Or Good, For Human Nature’s Daily Food; For ….Wiles, Praise, Blame, Love, Kisses, ears and Smiles. '
– William Wordsworth
'For I have learned to look on nature, not as in the hour of thoughtless youth, but hearing oftentimes the still, sad music of humanity.'
- William Wordsworth
As we all know that nature itself a very peaceful and beautiful thing, nature is for everyone, each animals have a right to be with their life, humans do not have any right to rule on , to kill , to eat.
Earth is a huge home for everyone, nature is powerful don't meter imaginative or real, it itself is a huge shelter for every living being.
We often praise and worship the spiritual poetry, poetry which is based on natural, supernatural and personified poems...but somewhere we lacking to application some valuable messages of same writers.
2) semuel Coleridge
'The IMAGINATION then I consider either as primary, or secondary. The primary
IMAGINATION I hold to be the living Power and prime Agent of all human Perception, and as a
repetition in the finite mind of the eternal act of creation in the infinite I AM. The secondary
Imagination I consider as an echo of the former, co-existing with the conscious will, yet still as
identical with the primary in the kind of its agency, and differing only in degree, and in the mode
of its operation. It dissolves, diffuses, dissipates, in order to re-create; or where this process is
rendered impossible, yet still at all events it struggles to idealize and to unify. It is essentially
vital, even as all objects (as objects) are essentially fixed and dead. (Vol. 1, p. 12)'
Yet in this conditioned sense, we become fixated on either the foreground or the background and so miss the reality of the other as though it doesn’t and can’t exist and so don’t see the full picture in many of our experiences.
Coleridge as a supernatural poet:
The poetry of Samuel Taylor Coleridge is characterized by the supernatural and mystery poetry.
Click here to read Coleridge's poerty of supernatural.
Coleridge's idea about Abstract nature:
Existing in thought or as an idea but not having a physical or concrete existence.
‘abstract concepts such as love or beauty’
The elements of the nature for any person, particular for Writers it's like a literature is a soul and nature is a default breath for poets.
Poets often denoting some imaginative World with the mysterious and supernatural elements so let see the poet's world v/s realistic world.
Nature always reflect itself as a medium of releasing beauty and motherhood the beauty of nature and peace of nature two cardinal elements which poets always use to portrayal in their particular work but apart from that , nature also contains most ugly side too, some where humans are very responsible for this kind of natural calamities.

3) John keats
“The poetry of the earth is never dead.”
—John Keats
—John Keats
Keats is a pure romantic poet. He writes poetry for the sake of poetry. He believes in art for
art’s sake.His major
concern is to give pleasure. It means that his chief concern is pleasure. Keats is least concern with the social issues of life.Love for nature is the chief characteristic of all he romantics. Keats also loves nature but he loves nature for the sake of nature. Coleridge finds some supernatural elements in nature, Keats believes in Negative Capability
Keats does not involve his personal feelings in his poetry. He writes poetry only for pleasure.
Pleasure is a very necessary part of human life, Keats poetry about social issues and about pleasure, we can consider is that a modern style of writing, where poets can include current situation of society intend of being so personal, biased and emotional. One more thing which I really like in Keats poetry that , a work of literature should be free from personal involvement, his pure love for either in Decorative form or realistic form but pleasure is concern and beauty should maintain with objectivity.

WHY DUALITY IS IMPORTANT?
Duality of nature is very important , this two sides of nature helps to balance everything equally.
If you wish your reputation to grow, be aware that your notoriety will also grow. It goes along with it. If you wish for good health, know that sickness is standing just around the corner. And if you want life, you will also have to accept death. You will always have sufferings as well as happiness in nature. Nature is duality. You have to go beyond because it is duality that is creating all the problems. You have to attain to that moment when duality vanishes. We call such a moment bliss, we call such a moment peace, we call such a moment Moksha – when both happiness and suffering disappear.
Well Done!
