DAY-2 OF POST-COLONIAL STUDIES
The continuation of our discussion on Post-colonial literature in series of lectures not at all in traditional way of physical classes but in a virtual way, today for the second day in a row of post-colonial studies Professor Balaji Ranganathan Sir ended the unit( Black skin white mask) in a very interesting way. The lecture started very early in the morning and Rangnathan sir made it very easy to understand many new equations and also had a lot of joy.
Continues discussion of the role of desire by Franz Fanon :
So, the role of desire is a very constant process to be seen with the terms of gender or in a way we are tend to think about it as a very symbolic way to connect with gender roles, but the perspective or the objectives of that particular role depends on, in which ground or in with whom the role was played by...
In our previous blog , we see the examples of Black women wants a White man for the sense of satisfaction or other aspects are there....
Now, with a change of mode in thinking with a vision of Post-colonial perspective we can put an argument that....."Objective desire or Fantasy in away very strong human sense to be taken note in the book Black skin white mask" Here we find many quotes related with this " Powerful Soul of Black ( colored) man"
Psychological Thinking
The central idea of SELF or LONGGING is emerging one's personality to individual conflicts. Such inferiority complexes mainly accrues when self-doubt take place in one or another's mind, the sense of being more less fair looking , the sense of being more darker and all. in this way human phycology started thinking in a very lacking manner of self-confidence including Evil thoughts can born with this strong hatred.
Concept of devaluation to own
very near to strong phycological problem which may faced by black or darker man\women as being less-superior then any light or white person, this is may leads them towards massive hard to self, it a
"DEVALUATION OF SELF"
It is so, obsessive trauma about desire to be fair, also harmful inferiority which leads towards such phycological problems like Mania, Phobia etc.
" It is a supplementing self to another just because of some lacking, you desire to be like, because you are suffers from something lack, or something what you are not actually'
With colonial perspective of reading such color conflicts says that " Colonizers have desire or need of colonies people" ASHISH NANDA : add that there is no particular serration in between colonizes and colonized , colonizers needs to colonized people to rule over them.
NEUROTIC EGO: One more time the most catastrophic position of taking power. colonial powers can exercise when such neurotic ego fantasize the desire , a strong desire is like burning fire and personal ego add the fuel in this. neurotic ego is structured desire with fancy to white and black trauma.
CHAPTER-4
This chapter started with the OCTAVE MANNONI'S work regarding
" Phycology of colonization"
Fanon criticize the Mannion's idea and say it is very much a problem of colonialism is a clear "OBJECTIVE HUMAN ATTITUDE" and a " PLAYED ACT OF TERITORY OF DESIRE" they are (Britishers) captured the imagination of people's mind and know how to rule.
Colonizers are very liberal this is the most problematic idea of terror that they believe in idea of being rule with punishment. so the reference of Reinforcement objective condition in late 19 century come with Britishers.
Revolution against Mechanism
Arrivals of Britishers with very reformed ideas of machines and with trains are very objectified attributes towards people, many people are welcomed it but such freedom fighters are hugely revolts the idea of mechanism such as Gandhi, Balgangadhar Tilak, Gopalkrushn Gokhle and all.
Here, Mannoni said on that event : "it is a encounter of Modernity in history" he said there is no other alternate option so, with the perspective of colonial studies it can be study as the revolt of racism as well as revolt of self-existence.
Institutionalized Idea of Racism
Racism is a constant mental process similarly gone though with many supplements of being superior such as more facilities or opportunities, attention is given to white people . so the identity is institutionalized by colonized doe colonizers. In this form of injustice happened a lot because the so called notions of caste is linked with it and in India constitution also recognized with caste.
Balaji Ranganathan sir gave very interesting example of Shakespeare's plays where such connotations of racism can take note a lot in Elizabethan era.
Binaries of collective catharsis
Post-colonial aspects about " NATURE OF SUPERIORITY" is at very well compared with Shakespearian Jew, the character of Shylock , Othello in ways of .....
The black man who is looked in his black body is something problematic?
-And you have to say to yourself that you are no longer are of cause for the signature of body, you have to say to yourself that you no longer are a cause of the structure of consciousness, But you have become now an object of consciousness .
Expression of presenting beauty, courage, and revolting idea submerged with work can be studied as a most relevant example of post colonial literature that, Shakespearian hero's are not at all followed by traditions of making, portraying or deliberately beautifying the personality on the base of superiority of anyone's physical attributes.
Idea of Delirium
Colonialism is a study of various aspects of human phycology, human minds and functions of nature, Delirium is a well studied aspect of phycology which means :"STATE OF DISTURBED MIND " Where any colored or black, dark man\women feel inferior of being dark. it's a general tendency of human nature to being less-confidence with white people so in this way this aspect can be studied in post-colonial literature.
Here, you can read the wikipedia page of mentions idea.

Now so finally saying it is possible for on the color red man the negroes to change their conception of history, because until now we have been taught that you are inferior based on the idea of conquest be proud of right so you need so to be proud for your heritage you need to be conscious. celebrate blackness? How do I celebrate the idea of color how do we celebrate that that black and white are just ideas he says it's only possible through the play of history. You have to discover yourself and your past your glory.
"BLACKNESS IS A SYMBOL OF PRIDE"
