Digital language lab

 

Due to the reduction in cases of corona virus students are now  allowed to seat together and can work on  computers, laptops at department of English.

The introductory lecture of Digital language laboratory was on hybrid mode. The students are supposed to work on the software named #Globarena  which provides the academic platforms such as Employability Skills, Training Digital Labs - English Lab Career, Lab Aptitude, Lab Global Employability Test  etc. Working from home with #Namo_Etab on language lab is again difficult task to perform, the availability and easiness of technical services such as  computer and laptop  provides students more comfort. As the Digital language lab is a part of task for students(MA sem-4), to overcome this task students have to publish a blog on this activity and  fill the survey form embedded in Dilip Barad   sir's Blog. 

This system of being part in such academic software, using digital labs will helps in the betterment of our academic activities.  

Here's my review regarding the activities we have done, answers of the questions from survey form embedded in Dilip Barad sir's Blog.

#Give five advantages of language learning software with reference to your review and experience: *

1) it gives very good options below the questions for more facilities two students searches verify, reset, show answers.

2) we find the very good checkbox here.

3) the speaking capability of this software is very good the voice is very smooth and audible.

4) the software has a very good structure of organising the ball language exercise such as index visual arts blanks really helpful for practical studies.

5) exercise where very innovative and from here the drag and drop options true and false options.

# Give five disadvantages of language learning software with reference to your review and experience: 

1) the drag and drop option below the questions was not working properly in the software.

2) there is some issue ine login and logout functions like we have to logout and login continuously and it's really time consuming.

3) assent problems are there while communicating with the software accent of various countries and various language little bit change and it create the confusion and problem in understanding each others words.

4) ESL was not working properly

5) language laboratory software don't have any documentation of data which can save our previous answers in the software itself.

#List at least five things (related to language skills) you think can be learnt from this lang lab programme: *

1) learn something very innovative

2) useful of being techno friend

3) it has very good visuals are images to give proper idea in exercises.

4) it definitely improve lsrw skills

5) while communicating we can learn the new accent of another country.

Additional (5) due to Corona pandemic we can have the group task and good advantage of of group discussions and friend talks which increase power reasoning power and communication too.

This is very advanced study of language through lab or in laboratory which definitely enhance students skills in in every field like speaking writing listening. The most important think I personally feel is that to be very honest I had never had such innovative and informative software to learn, this is the first time I have learnt through like basic to upwards , this gives me the very e basic two very advanced information about how can I structure, can organised or can perform on academic softwares. Along with all this software has a complete guidance of English language. This should be the part of every Students syllabus. Learners can enjoy learning in light environment,effective learning of technological tools ,knowledge of computer and language lab ,students can achieve ,learners can be more advance through this.
