All students with safety life saving jackets. Necessary medicines were taken .
At the late morning we all reached out destination Piram bet and started playing sometimes at seashore. (Taking advantage of time when other boat's are on the way)
After gatherings, our guides make us aware about the rules and regulations of this tracking as well as a few instructions was given .
Then we started walking around the island with taking all necessary things such as food, medicine, chairs, fresh drinkable water etc.
Around noon we reached for taking the time to listen the very purpose of tracking from our guides and we egarly wait for know the History of this island.
So the very purpose of this tracking is to increase ability to self-dependence , increase the quality of leadership, to be with nature, to know the nature, to care for nature. It also testing our physical strength and fitness.
Original journey started after this session when we started visiting such various areas of this island and get information from our guides. So many interesting and special things about this island we came to know.
First a fall ,
The island has mangrove vegetation and also nesting site for two endangered species of sea turtle; Olive ridley sea turtle and Green sea turtle, and around fifty species of birds, mostly seabirds. The sea turtles arrives for nesting in August-September.
Unfortunately we couldn't get any living turtle to see just because they came there in September. But whatever I found I love to share here...
There we get some residuals of Mokhdaji's fort and some important part of well settled colony.
This stones are generally used to build up a house and forts this residuals may signify something was surely there in 13th 14th century.
While talking about stone I like to share what we seen there, a various types of stone designs situated in different parts of the island.
My most remarkable and notable experience is about the visit of the lighthouse. There we grabbed the most important information 😊 about lighthouse as well as get chance to climb up and visit whole island from the top of the lighthouse.

we had a very fruitful discussion with Mr. Afroj shaikh the lighthouse keeper. Who introduced us about various aspects and importance of lighthouse.
Here we come to know that there are 6 lighthouses around the island and the best part of the lighthouse is that it's fully stand and work on solar system. They use 150 WLT Philips bulb to hendle this gas system of navigation and satellite. The headquarter is at Delhi and they have to follow all directions given by authority, the managing system of light they specifically set a petromate to manage it sincerely.
Mud tracking
Likewise it also a good experience of the day is that from the very first in our life we do it something like this and in the very beginning we are much afraiding to go across from it though mud but after starting walking we feel nothing hard and terrible mud tracking is .it takes some courage and strength to cross it. U should be strong by mentally and physically as well enough. our guide vishnu sir helps us to make our self comfortable with it.
Such Mangrove tree's are very hard to walk through in that case we try to walk through in and come to know that, one it is much dangerous to dare.
After this we find some species of 🦀 Crabs and shells and conch's.
The island has the fossils of dinosaur eggs, giraffe and gigantic turtles with some dating back 8,000 years. In the 1860s, the fossils of two basic species of giraffes, Bramatherium and Sivatherium were found. The fossils of Hipparion were also found on the island. Several shipwrecks found around the island are dated to the fourteenth century.
As I mentioned earlier that this Piram bet island was much known for navigation and fishing , I got some Fisher man,
This is their daily income to survive their lives by selling fish and get money from it.
Our day was ended with a delicious food provided by University.
Our whole day passed in wondering in this island and get information. It was truly a very good and fruitful experience with all students and guides , we get back with so many new friends and so many experiences accordingly good and hard enough.
